A great big thank you!

Y.A.N.A. would like to recognize some special people and organizations who have taken their generosity many steps further to help us get closer to reaching our goals!

What a gift! The Comox Valley Community Foundation's President Blaine Douglas presented Y.A.N.A. with a $6000 cheque towards reburbishing the apartments in Vancouver at their annual grant distribution luncheon. It was inspiring to see how many people and groups are working toward making and keeping our community a wonderful
and supportive place to live. Thank you Comox Valley Community Foundation for recognizing the important service that Y.A.N.A. is!

Y.A.N.A. now has computers and Internet connections for their apartments in Vancouver, helping the children and families stay connected with the Comox Valley.

Donated by the Strathcona Sunrise Rotary Club, the idea came from a presentation YANA made last fall to the club. The members of the club donated the computers and they were cleaned up and ready to go - just waiting for the right time.

Thank you Thank you! CIBC donated a staggering $5000!!!!!!!!! This will pay for five months rent for one of our apartments! YANA's families are receiving much needed support because of you!

Thank you to Brian Balfe and Steven and Marnie Martin!!!! This donation started as a performance challenge made by Brian Balfe to Marnie and Steven Martin. The challenge was sell a property within 30 days, the result would be a $1000 donation to the organization of Marnie and Steven’s choice.

“We really appreciate the work Y.A.N.A. does and that it directly helps those within our own local community. It was the right place for this donation. This is the kind of organization that you can see first hand helping local families overcome huge unforeseen financial stress when it really counts.”
