Recently, an anonymous donor was moved by YANA’s vision to reimagine the sleeping arrangements in our Vancouver apartments, creating spaces that are more comfortable, welcoming, and efficient for the families who call them home during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Without hesitation, they stepped forward with an incredibly generous gift that will be enough to bring that vision to life.

For YANA families, our apartments are so much more than a place to stay. They become a home away from home while a child receives medical care far from the comforts of their own community. A good night’s sleep, a comfortable place to rest, and a space that works well for families can make an enormous difference during an incredibly stressful time.

What touched us most wasn’t just the generosity of this gift, but the trust behind it. This donor saw the vision, understood the impact it would have on families, and stepped forward to help make it happen.
