Donate Securities
  • Set up a monthly giving plan through Glass Register or contact us to set up a convenient pre-authorized debit (PAD) agreement.
  • Donate online using a credit card through Glass Register (click on this link or “Donate Now” button above)
  • Send an e-transfer to info@yanacomoxvalley.com. Auto-deposit is enabled, so no security question/answer should be required. Please include your full name and mailing address in the notes/comments so we can send a charitable receipt.
  • Drop off or mail cash or cheque payable to “YANA Fund Society” to the YANA office (102 – 2456 Rosewall Crescent, Courtenay BC, V9N 8R9)
  • Donate securities, including publicly traded stocks, bonds, mutual funds and segregated funds, directly to YANA through CanadaHelps. More information here.
  • Donate gifts in-kind; YANA welcomes donations of new merchandise, services and gift certificates for fundraising events
  • Create a legacy gift by arranging a deferred giving plan
  • Donate in support of our annual Dinner & Auction or our annual YANA Ride
  • Pledge a cyclist participating in the YANA Ride
  • Consider other unique ways of giving

YANA uses two trusted platforms for online donations to ensure security, transparency, and the greatest possible impact of your gift.

Glass Register processes our one-time and monthly donations. This Canadian platform allows charities to receive 100% of each gift. Donors can choose to make a small contribution to support Glass Register’s operations, but even if they don’t, Glass Register covers all processing costs so your full donation goes to YANA.

CanadaHelps processes donations of securities. It provides a safe, secure portal for charities to accept these gifts online and manages the complexities of processing securities, which Glass Register does not currently support.

Charitable tax receipts are issued automatically by both platforms. With the exception of anonymous donations, basic donor contact information is shared with YANA.

YANA adheres to the Donor Bill of Rights.
