I connected with YANA over 5 years ago through the Women’s Business Network. I immediately recognized the value and the need for YANA and felt very motivated to get involved. I spent a few years as a board member and more recently organized a fundraising event on behalf of YANA with the Welsh Men’s Choir. It was a fun community event in which about 400 people attended.
I enjoy organizing such fundraisers and supporting YANA but what impacts me the most is when I attend the dinner/auction and see the slideshow of a family who is supported by YANA. The resiliency of the children and families moves me and further strengthens my motivation to continue to donate to and support YANA.
