Irelynn and her friends held a car wash and sold lemonade for their donation to YANA Having fun and raising awareness about YANA at such young ages is wonderful.

Central Builders held another amazing Ladies’ Night in May. It looked like everyone had a great time, building, learning, eating and winning door prizes. Well done Central Builders.

A lovely group of ladies held a clothing swap amongst themselves and collected donations for YANA What a great idea.

We love it when kids choose to donate Birthday Party money to YANA so we can help other kids. Thanks this month to Acacia and Alice who celebrated their birthday in this giving kind of way.

Telus, through their “Give Where You Live” Program, approved a grant to Highland Secondary School “to empower and enable youth to be agents of change”. What a great way to give back to kids and families in our community. Thanks Highland and Telus.

The Comox Valley Principals and Vice Principals Association continue to pay back to YANA We know that they get to see first hand the impact of childhood illnesses and injuries on their students and their families. YANA helps all children under the age of 19 living in School District 71 who must leave the Comox Valley for medical treatment elsewhere.

Courtenay Kia held a barbecue and donated proceeds to YANA We love summer barbecues and what better way to do it than with proceeds to a local charity like YANA

A late donation came in from a Christmas party over the holidays. Christmas in May – love it.

Chelsey Newton collected donations for YANA at her Kid’s Clutter sale on April 20th. This is a great event and we sure appreciate the donation.

Thank you to all the businesses and individuals who decorated and donated trees to the Driftwood Mall’s Christmas Tree fundraiser for YANA A big thank you to Heather who organized the entire event.
