Thank Yous

Christopher & Wendy Smith sure have big hearts and a ton of enthusiasm. They worked with Mark Isfeld School to organize the Drive for Charity event at Isfeld School on April 21st. The proceeds from the Croquet game (what family fun!) and the Silent Auction were donated to YANA Thanks go to the staff and students at the school as well.

Thanks to Speed Pro for our fancy new “cheque” that we can use for photos of our YANA donors. You guys sure are community minded.

April 22-26 was the first annual YANA Week in the Schools. What a great way to raise awareness about how YANA helps families in School District 71. Many schools held awareness assemblies and fund raising events. We thank our Director, Hugh MacKinnon for an amazing job of organizing this, and attending many of the events.

Santa is alive and well… and his spirit is kept alive by a guy named Brian. Thank you, Brian, for your festive efforts to give back to YANA and our community.

The Comox Valley Airport does a really cool thing. If a traveler leaves their car lights on while they are in sunny Mexico and they come home to a dead battery in the CV Airport parking lot… the airport team has a charger on wheels and they provide a boost in exchange for a donation to YANA Thank you for your creative fundraising idea!

Thank you to the kids at Puntledge School who raised money for YANA as part of your ‘I Can’ initiative. We love to see kids helping kids… way to go!!

Thank you to our webmaster, Tara Field, who helps us to keep the world informed about what YANA is up to throughout the year!

Good ol’ Rapping Ryan Parton has taken his fundraiser to a new level and the money for YANA keeps pouring in. Thanks Dude!

Thank you to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart for your continued support for the work that YANA does with children and families in the Comox Valley.

Many thanks to the Knights of Columbus for keeping YANA in mind when considering your charitable offerings. You are a bunch of swell guys!
