Thank Yous

An enormous thank you to Andrew Sheret Limited for choosing YANA as the recipient for their charitable fundraising efforts! Their fundraising breakfast and 50/50 draw (which sold out!!) speaks to the big hearts and generous nature of the folks at Andrew Sheret Ltd.

The Triple Heat Dance Parent Advisory Society has been working their moves off the dance floor and have been raising funds for YANA. The Unwrapped Christmas show’s blind raffle turned into a wonderful Christmas donation for YANA.

With sincere gratitude, YANA accepted a donation from Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chapel. The dedication and generosity of the members of the Chapel will benefit many Comox Valley families.

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #160 and the Ladies Auxiliary of Comox continue their amazing work in supporting our community. YANA is incredibly grateful for the generous donations generated from their open house and for the opportunity to showcase YANA at the annual event. The donations will help support so many families. Thank you.

Weed Man Lawn Care Courtenay is always thinking about how to help out their community! They’ve donated to so many local organizations and YANA is one of them. We feel very fortunate to have received a generous donation from them. Does your lawn need a pick me up? Go and see Weed Man Lawn Care Courtenay!

Who doesn’t like dressing casual at work? At Coastal Community Credit Union, staff are given the opportunity to relax a little, by putting on those comfy jeans and donating to a community charity at the same time. We’d like to give a giant shout out to to CCCU for an awesome donation from their staff. Thank you so much!

Another personal best for Jack on his Pi Day-1,400 digits of the mathematical constant!!! Jack Boan rhymed off close to 400 more numbers from memory beating his 2018 record! We heart that Jack takes this opportunity to fundraise for YANA while doing it.

YANA sends gratitude to the Potter’s Place and all the super talented potters in the Comox Valley Potters Club for their ongoing fundraising commitments to YANA. They lovingly create gorgeous chili bowls that are sold filled with chili at Market Day downtown (and any unclaimed bowls later in the year). The funds raised from the sale of these bowls are donated to YANA. Their chili bowls warm our hearts – thank you!

Huge YANA love goes out to the Comox Valley ATV Club, who holds an annual ‘First Responders’ Appreciation BBQ and donates funds to YANA at the same time. This fun-loving group of people believe in giving back to their community and showing their appreciation for the Valley’s hard-working emergency workers. We concur, as many of them help our YANA families too. Thank you Comox Valley ATV Club, for your thoughtful donation and collaborative work for all the donations we receive from this!

Our former Tin Town neighbour, Stephen Weber, provided haircuts to customers by donation on several Saturdays. We are thrilled that all of the donations went to YANA. If you want to get less shaggy, go see the Tin Town Barber now located in the Comox Mall!
