Thank Yous

My Tech Guys are always thinking about YANA At various events like Music Fest and the Air Show, they charge electronic devices so attendees don’t have to miss out on their favourite photos. They collect donations to YANA in exchange for this service.

Our youngest fundraiser has been hard at work at the Comox Return It Centre. Thanks, Christopher Parkinson!

Huge thanks to our friends at Air Maintenance Squadron for getting soapy for YANA at their annual car wash.

Many thanks to Cumberland Rotary who sold rhododendrons grown by the Smiths with proceeds to YANA

Special thanks to Brian Bailey from My Tech Guys for travelling to Vancouver to install new computers in our four YANA apartments. Your efforts help YANA families stay connected.

For many years the Old English Car Club have chosen YANA for donations at their annual car show held at Filberg Park and they also contributed an additional donation from the club. Thank you!

Thank you to The Potter’s Place for their Chili Bowl Fundraiser which took place during Market Days this summer. The bowls and the chili were made with love! What a great way to add to your pottery collection each year and help local families with sick kids at the same time.

Once again, Nautical Days provided an opportunity for YANA to collect donations on the final evening of the festivities at Marina Park. Thank you for this opportunity and special acknowledgement to the volunteers who collected money and the generous people who made donations.

Thank you to all cyclists, volunteers, sponsors and donors that contributed to the Simon’s Cycles YANA Ride. It was an amazing example of people coming together for the joy of riding and the joy of helping! Cyclist, Kelly Rusk, had some special pledges, one from the Firefighters Association and one from Mirren Everitt , who put all of his allowance toward pledging Kelly’s ride.

The B.C. Government does payroll deductions for donations by provincial employees. Many thanks to those employees who choose YANA to receive their donations.
