Prefer to ride solo? Individual riders are always welcome too.
Whether you ride road, gravel, mountain, cruiser, adaptive, e-bike or stationary bike, there’s a place for you in the YANA Ride.
Registration opens June 1!
Need help registering? No problem! Call the YANA office at 250-871-0343, and we’ll happily help you get signed up.
RIDE & RAISE
Ride anytime between August 1-16, 2026 and create your own YANA Ride adventure while fundraising in support of local families.
This year, the YANA Ride is introducing official YANA Ride Hubs and Passport Checkpoints throughout the Comox Valley and beyond!
Plan your own route and explore participating businesses and community locations while collecting passport check-ins, enjoying fun activations, and connecting with the incredible community that powers YANA.
Whether you’re planning a leisurely family cruise, a scenic gravel adventure, a mountain bike day, a road ride with friends, or multiple rides throughout the two-week event, the YANA Ride is all about getting out into the community, having fun, and raising funds for local families who need to leave our community to access vital medical care for a child or pregnant mother.
Participating Ride Hubs and Passport Checkpoints will give riders the chance to:
- Check in and collect passport stamps along their route
- Build their own Ride adventure across the Comox Valley
- Discover and support amazing local businesses
- Connect with fellow riders and YANA supporters
- Celebrate the incredible community spirit behind the YANA Ride
Select Ride Hubs and Passport Checkpoints will also feature exclusive YANA Ride Day specials and experiences like:
- Snacks, treats and refreshments
- Rider perks and promotions
- Games and activities
- Live entertainment and music
- Sponsor activations
- Giveaways and surprises
- Family-friendly gathering spaces
Official checkpoint locations, passport details and Ride Hub announcements will roll out throughout the summer, so stay tuned!
Ride a little or ride a lot. Visit one checkpoint or make a full-day adventure of it. However you choose to participate, every dollar raised helps local families travelling for medical care for a child or pregnant mother.
And remember, the more you raise, the more chances you’ll have to earn amazing sponsor-donated prizes and incentives!
Even more importantly, every dollar pledged and donated goes directly back into YANA’s funding and accommodation programs, supporting families needing to travel for medical treatment for a child or pregnant mother.

Every dollar raised goes straight to helping a local family receive YANA support while travelling for medical care for a child or pregnant mother. This event is our second largest fundraiser, which last year brought in $112,600, covering a significant portion of the cost of running YANA’s funding and accommodation for the year.
YANA supported 301 clients with 586 medical trips, providing over $342,000 in travel funding and accommodation support last year alone. Your donation at registration and the pledges and money you raise allow us to continue to say yes to families and be there when they need it most.
- $50 = 1 night stay at a YANA apartment in Vancouver near BC Children’s Hospital
- $100 = 4 nights stay at Jeneece Place, Victoria
- $200 = YANA envelope of cash for a family’s emergency hospital transfer
- $500 = 3 nights Nanaimo hotel accommodation
- $1350 = 1 month medical travel expense funding

LOOKING BACK
2025
The 2025 YANA Ride proved once again that this community knows how to show up in a BIG way for local families. Riders, donors, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters came together to create something far bigger than a fundraising event. They created joy, connection, teamwork, and unforgettable memories all in support of YANA families. From workplace teams and family crews to first-time riders and longtime supporters, this incredible community rallied together to raise an amazing $112,600 for Comox Valley families travelling for medical care for a child or pregnant mother. Thank you to every single person who rode, donated, volunteered, sponsored, cheered, and celebrated alongside us. Your compassion and community spirit continue to power YANA forward every single year.
2024
The 2024 event had a few nail-biting moments, but this truly incredible community put every worry to rest! A big goal was set, and you were not deterred. Instead, you faced the challenge (and the Party in the Park day storm!) head-on, and together we raised an amazing $101,000 for YANA families! This year also marked the first-ever Golf Ball Drop, a new tradition that will surely be a fan favourite for years to come. To the 500+ compassionate donors, 240 dedicated riders, 46 generous sponsors, and 70 unstoppable volunteers—we want to THANK YOU! The success of the 2024 event wouldn’t have been possible without the many hands and hearts that came together to support YANA. That’s the power of community!
2023
57 volunteers and 56 sponsors & prize donors laid the groundwork for 248 dedicated riders to chart-their-own-course in the 2023 Comox Bike Co. YANA Ride fundraiser. Thousands of supporters made a pledge towards their efforts, bought draw tickets and gear, bid on auction items or had a blast at the Party in the Park. No two people helped in exactly the same way, but the impact of SO many people doing what they personally could was exponential. Friends, together we raised ONE HUNDRED TWELVE THOUSAND record-breaking dollars for YANA families! $112,000!!!! Thank you to everyone who helped in whatever way that you could so that we’re able to keep helping families the way that we can!
2022
What an honour and privilege it was to reunite together again for YANA families! 2022 was all about transitioning gracefully and coming back stronger than ever. What a comeback it was!
315 riders and the friends, family, donors, and volunteers who cheered and supported them every pedal of the way raised the grandest grand total yet – $86,500!! Thanks to our incredibly generous sponsors, 100% of the event costs were covered, so every single dollar raised was used directly to help Comox Valley families with children or pregnant moms needing medical care away from home. Massive thank you to everyone who came together to make it all possible. Absolutely amazing!!
2021
Through a summer like no other, even in the midst of holidays, beach days, long-anticipated road trips and travel, this incredible community still showed up. You ‘Everested, you climbed, you cruised (some of you crashed), but no matter how you showed your support, you found a way to make it your own and celebrate YANA any way that you could.
To the 300+riders, the donors, sponsors & volunteers, and to the giant-hearted YANA supporters from across the Comox Valley and beyond, to say ‘thank you’ is hardly enough for the $77,000 that, together, we raised for families in our community. You truly showed every YANA child that even through the darkest of days, they are not alone.
2020
Amidst the COVID-19 global pandemic, 424 Riders registered by donation for the first-ever socially distanced, “virtual” Comox Bike Co YANA Ride.
An incredible $110,000 was raised for YANA families by these mighty riders and the sponsors, donors, and volunteers who supported them. Make no mistake, when our community comes together like this in such a huge way, under such troubling circumstances, we are showing our youngest, most treasured people, and everyone who loves them, that we care. That we show up. That we will forever promise them – You Are Not Alone.
