Thank Yous

Speaking of birthdays, Cumberland United Church congregation take birthday donations throughout the year and then generously donate them to YANA.

Kai Davenport donated his birthday money to YANA and so did Olie and Jasch Phillips (seen in photo).  We love hearing about these fun birthday parties and seeing kids helping kids.

The Comox Legion continue to honor the families of sick kids in the Comox Valley by including YANA in the distribution of their fundraising dollars.

The Gardeners Green Folk Club in Merville made another donation to YANA in honor of Ursula Joy. Thanks for helping us help Ursula and her family.

The Hospital Employees’ Union show how much they care about families in the Comox Valley by donating to YANA. We love our community partners.

Thanks to the Comox Valley Dental Hygiene group for hosting a free cleaning event with donations to YANA.

Jeannie Spencer held an Invision Your Life Hypnotherapy Workshop with donations to YANA.  We heard great reviews about this workshop.  Thanks for the insight you bring to our community and for caring about our cause at the same time.

The schools just keep on giving. The Highland Alumni Basketball game over the holidays collected donations to YANA at the door. Glad we stay in people’s hearts even after they leave the Valley.

Many thanks to Loretta Semple who organizes, collects and delivers clothes for the Consignment for YANA project. It was a big success in 2013 and she continues with this project in 2014. Visit her Facebook page Consignment for YANA to learn more.

Ongoing thanks to the parishioners at The Lady of the Sacred Heart Chapel who are regular donors to YANA.
