Thank Yous

Courtenay Kia made a donation to YANA in December just because!

Union Bay United Church continues to support YANA with their donations. What a great community initiative.

We continue to receive donations through the Telus Dollars for Doers program where Telus donates on behalf of their employees who volunteer.  What a beautiful way to acknowledge staff who are generous with their time.

We are so appreciative of the Comox Valley for supporting our Christmas cracker sales. We sold out once again and a lucky winner received a beautiful diamond ring (photo)!  A big thank you to Mark Dalziel for donating the grand prize and also to Tim Haley for appraising it.

Dale Presly asked for donations to attend a series of Dream Workshops he held at the Ocean Resort and sent the money to YANA so we can help kids get well and fulfill their dreams.  Thanks, Dale!

Simon and Oliver Spragg asked for donations instead of presents at their birthdays and split the money between YANA and BC Children’s Hospital.  Simon and Oliver are shown here with their little sister, Thea, presenting the money to their proud Nana, Judy Cryer, President of YANA and Marcie Dumais, Executive Director.

The Comox Valley Women’s Fastball Charity Tournament presented an amazing donation from their summer event.  These funds helped us buy new computers for our four Vancouver apartments. The computers help families keep in touch with friends and relatives while they are out-of-town.
